The New Entrepreneurs(NE) program was created in order to address the problem of youth unemployment by turning unemployed youth into entrepreneurs. This was formulated on the basis of the position Professor Yunus has taken in the context of the unemployment problems globally. He is asking the Unemployment children to believe that "We are not job-seekers, we are job-givers" and act as such by giving up job seeking, and actively pursuing the creation of enterprises.
Business is a very beautiful mechnanism to solve our unemployment problem, but we never use it for that purpose. -Amir Khashru.
